PBA Open Conference stats (1987-1989)


1987 PBA First Conference: Local/Import stats in the elimination round. Ricardo Brown of Great Taste and David Thirdkill of Tanduay leads the scoring.


1988 PBA First Conference: Local/Import stats in the elimination round. David Thirdkill of Purefoods leads the imports in scoring while Ricardo Brown of San Miguel was the scoring leader among the locals.


1989 PBA First Conference: After 10 games in the eliminations, Bobby Parks of Shell was the scoring leader for the imports while Allan Caidic of Presto and rookie Benjie Paras of Shell were tied with the same total points and averages for the locals.

1986 PBA season (Local / Import stats)


Stats in the Reinforced (1st) Conference. Dwight Anderson of Pilipinas Shell Oilers led the imports' scoring. On the locals, last year's MVP winner Ricardo Brown of Great Taste was tops, followed by Arnie Tuadles of Alaska and Atoy Co of Manila Beer. 


Billy Ray Bates of Ginebra had the highest average among all imports that played in the 1986 PBA season and had a single-game high of 69 points.


Ricardo Brown of Great Taste posted the highest average among the locals and with a single-game high of 52 points. He was followed by Samboy Lim, who turn pro in the third conference, Lim's stats in the second conference where he played for the guest national team are not counted. Eventual MVP winner Ramon Fernandez of Tanduay is at third.

1984 PBA scoring leaders



Ramon Fernandez of Beer Hausen was the scoring leader in the first conference, followed by Arthur "Chip" Engelland of guest team NCC. At third is Rudy Distrito of Country Fair Hotdogs.


Engelland and Fernandez exchange places at number 1 and 2 among the scoring leaders in the second conference. Chip is now number one, followed by El Presidente. Ricardo Brown of Great Taste is at number 3 and Francis Arnaiz of Gilbey's at number 4. 


In the third conference with imports, Tony Washam of Gilbey's led the scoring with 42.75 average in 12 games played.

Ramon Fernandez in overall three conferences had the highest average among the locals with 27.79 points in 64 games played.

Scoring/Rebounds leaders (1984 1st AFC)


Ramon Fernandez of Beer Hausen was the scoring leader in the eliminations of the 1984 First All-Filipino Conference.


In the quarterfinal round among four teams with a total of 3 games. Terry Saldana of Gilbey's Gin leads in the scoring.


Ramon Fernandez of Beer Hausen was tops in the two-round semifinals and was the scoring leader in a total of seven games, including the Brewmasters' playoff lost to Gilbey's.

Scoring and Rebounds averages (1982 & 1983)


1982 PBA Open Conference: Scoring leaders among imports and local players.


Andrew Fields of Toyota was tops in rebounds with an average of 19.1 in 29 games played. Among the locals, it was Abet Guidaben of Crispa which led in rebounds with 7.8 average in 18 games.
